Our Refund Policy
At Golden Memories Planning Company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable events. We understand that plans can change, and we strive to work with our clients as fairly as possible. Please review our refund policy below:
Deposits & Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and initiate planning services.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your scheduled event unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Cancellation Policy
If you choose to cancel your event, the following refund structure applies:
- 30 or more days before event: You may receive a refund of payments made beyond the deposit, minus costs already incurred.
- 15–29 days before event: Partial refunds may be available based on services and materials already secured.
- 14 days or less before event: No refunds will be issued due to the advanced stage of planning and commitments made on your behalf.
3. Rescheduling Policy
- Clients are offered one-time complimentary rescheduling, provided notice is given at least 14 days in advance.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and must fall within 6 months of the original event date.
- Additional rescheduling requests may incur a fee.
4. Custom Orders & Rental Items
- Custom décor, signage, and specialty rentals are non-refundable once materials are purchased or production has begun.
- Lost, damaged, or unreturned rental items may result in additional charges as outlined in your rental agreement.
5. Weather & Force Majeure
Golden Memories Planning Company is not responsible for event disruptions caused by weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide partial credit toward a future event..
